A couple of weeks ago I had my second ever First Time Home Buyer Seminar and I couldn’t be happier with the turn out. Jake (my co-host & mortgage expert) and I had 30 eager first time buyers in attendance all ready to learn. The space was pretty cool too, it was at the Metropolis Factory in the Junction Triangle, an old power generating building turned show room and filled with eye candy. The night wouldn’t have been complete without our sponsors, Yummy Stuff who donated cupcakes & a gift certificate, Cafe Con Leche who donated delicious coffee and 2 caramel cheesecakes and Bruce County Fudge who donated a candy apple for everyone to take home, how amazing? So let’s re-live the evening with some photos and hope to see you at the next one this Fall!
The set up…..
Shannon Lee Simmons teaching us how to save for a down payment & not be house poor……
Of course we had some technical difficulties between presentations that my amazing boyfriend Amir fixed, did I mention how awesome he was helping me put this evening together…..
Up next, Mortgage Jake from Mortgage Edge (my co-host) teaching us a thing or two about this complicated thing called mortgages….
Last but not least, me aka Realty Queen TO aka Aleksandra Oleksak……….
Now lets not forget the winners of our giveaway, there were a ton of gift certificates + tickets to a Blue Jays game…..
I couldn’t be happier with the success of the First Time Home Buyer Seminar! Jake and I are thankful to all who came and hope to see you this Fall.
