Hey everyone its the Realty Queen and I am back with my one minute Toronto real estate market update, this time for the month of February. The average selling price in the 416 area for the month of February was $599,414, which represented an 8.9% price increase when compared to last year. Now our housing sectors did really great across the board and detached homes saw a price increase of 15.7%, semi detached homes saw 8%, our town houses really rocked it this month and saw a price increase of 20.7% and our condos saw a price increase of 6% of course all compared to last years numbers. So now what does this all mean? It means that our home prices on average will trend upwards well above the rate of inflation and seller market conditions will prevail throughout the rest of this year. So if you are thinking of selling your home don’t be scared of the cold weather, give me a call and lets get your house on the market especially in a time when we are seeing ten to twenty offers on any single home. Now if you are looking for more neighbourhood specific information, I think I’ve got about 47 neighbourhood specific reports I can send to you on a monthly basis. All you have to do is go to www.torontoweststats.com and get yourself on the list. So thanks so much for tuning in and we will see you back here soon with another update in real estate. Of course.
